This humble director and producer from ‘Male’ R Chandru follows ‘Daasavani’ precisely. Perhaps the state award money he is getting for ‘Charminar’ as best producer and director, he has already spent with parties for whoever asked for.

On Saturday night he threw a party to media friends at Green House Raj Milan for state award for ‘Charminar’.

He remembered his father who said ‘Neen Kuri Kayakku Layakkilla’. When I called up my father with this award from Karnataka state coming to me, he wondered what it is.

Spreading his wings in Andhra Pradesh via remake of his ‘Charminar’ as ‘Krishnamma Kalipindi’ R Chandru has offer to go to Hindi cinema. It will be only in August as the commitment of release of Kannada ‘Male’ and Telugu debut film around the corner.
